In January of 2022, Christ Church Cathedral and St. David’s Church in Agawam committed to hosting a family from Afghanistan who have recently been placed by Jewish Family Service. The family we are working with has a mother and a father and five boys, ages 2,6,8,10 and 12. Their house is being lovingly prepared. They can still use assistance in several ways.
As the family settles in we will get to know them and find out more clearly what their needs are. A huge Thank You to you at CCC for your generous donations of household goods and support. We are bowled over by the community’s thoughtfulness and hope the family will sense your love and care in all you have given. Thank you to everyone for being part of the Cathedral’s support for the Khan Family from
Afghanistan. The two great needs now are for transportation, someone who can drive the
Cathedral’s van to different meetings and engagements. Not every week but occasionally.
And also, for quilters or people who sew to work with a Cathedral member to
finish several quilts she has started for the children. If you feel moved to help or
